Tickets Breng train

You can travel with the Breng train in different ways: with credit or a subscription on your OV-chip card, on account with your OV-chip card, with a single-use chip card, NS-Business Card, OVpay, or with an e-ticket. Choose the option that suits you best and enjoy an easy journey!

Credit

At all Breng stations you will find pick-up device where you can top up the credit on your OV-chipkaart. You must have a minimum of € 20.00 on your OV-chipkaart to be able to travel with a Breng train.

Other carriers

The following subscriptions and discount cards can also be used on the Breng train:
  • Student trave product
  • OV annual subscription
  • NS subscriptions Altijd Vrij, Dal Vrij and Weekend Vrij
    Please note: make sure you have at least € 10.00 credit on your OV-chipkaart. If the credit is negative, the OV-chipkaart equipment on the Breng train will not register the subscription.
  • NS discount cards Dal Voordeel and Altijd Voordeel
    These also give you a discount when travelling with a Breng train
  • NS subscription Traject Vrij
    You can buy a Traject Vrij for a route on the Breng train but also for a route from a Breng station to an NS station.
  • Day tickets of offers at HEMA, Kruidvat and AH, among others.

Travelling on account

Would you rather pay afterwards? This is possible with the NS Business Card (business) and NS Flex (private). Both means of payment are valid on the Breng train.

One-time chipkaart

You can also travel with a one-time chipkaart. You pay the full fare plus a surcharge of € 1.00. The one-time chip card is available from the NS vending machine located at all stations on this route.

E-ticket

E-tickets are for sale on the NS website. The fare depends on the distance travelled. Enter your start and end station and buy your E-ticket. You can print the NS E-ticket or load it directly onto your mobile phone. An E-ticket is only valid in combination with a valid form of identity.
